Help, my toad has a bad leg!

Hello all! My husband purchased a tank and four toads for me as a gift (in February) and one them always looked a bit odd. His leg is now very swollen and it seems quite bad. The frog does not appear to be in any pain and still moves about the tank with ease and has no trouble catching crickets. I could really use any advice that you may have and I wish my husband had done more research prior to getting the sweeties for me! I can't find anything similar on the Internet at all!
