Found a little cutie on the farm today while tearing up the fields, didnt recognize it so ive been searching for an answer as to what it is(aside from an amphibian).
Here being the gulf of florida. Kinda thinking it may be loaded with eggs due to the amount of pudge its showing. T
EDIT: now that i think of it, Eastern Narrow mouthed Toad, just really red...
I was gonna say Eastern Narrow mouthed Toad![]()

Oh yes, probably should have clarified, i dont collect wild :P. Trust me, i have helped rehab enough animals to know about that. I was thinking fire bellies :P Or just seeing what else the store has, i have a good one locally, they have a HUGE fire belly set up.
I'm sure GrifTheGreat's thinking "If he buys a frog I hope he buys a pacman" am I right?![]()

lol, i thought about a pac for a while but its hard to find the around here not dyed. They would be my first choice though. I do have African dwarfs with my 10gal tank, get along with my older female betta. They were actually my first pet. Then it went fish.cat.dogs.bird.lizard.snakes lol. Since im so good with fish it may be worth setting up a 10gal for a ACF when i head off to college.

Well it will be a while in the making :P. I just moved and still need to rearrange my new room for openings. My Reptile rack is Almost full, i believe i have a perfect space for a custom 5-10 tall terrarium. and enough space on top for a 20gal Long on its side. Ill probably hold off until the next rescue comes along, just turned down a beardie. I should mention both my snakes are rescues, as are most of my bettas. the leopard gecko was me, spoiling myself. Then 2 weeks later i get 2 snakes dropped on me.
Im thinking if theres any frog i could do in a tall setup(when you flip the tank so it top faces forward and its stands on its short side.)
And yes they dye them around here, only 1 store buys them though, and they carry a lot of dyed animals(fish). It doesnt even look good, i think they use albinos(which still have the patterns) and just tint them =_=. Same goes for ACFs I hate jellybean frogs and fish, its pathetic.
as if they dye them! They are gorgeous animals and don't need to be dyed, its just messing with nature and causing unnecessary harm and stress to the frogs (and fish). and I'm sure it wouldn't be good for their health.
Anyways on a lighter note, I (and others I'm sure) would love to see pictures of your other pets!and good on you for rescuing the snakes and bettas

http://www.frogforum.net/other-pets/...tml#post115472 here it is...lots of pics. I limited it though XD. I constantly badger the stores about dyed fish, luckly, Glo-Fish, which is the company that produced glo-danio, is now producing Glo-tetra. They use the same species of tetra that dying companies use, but instead of acid baths and dye, they genetically alter the pigment of the fish, no harm to the animals, and it breeds true. Safe alternative to dyes, and since the fish arnt harmed they live longer AND it doesnt fade.
