    Default Hello from MI

Hi my name is Angie and I am a current biology student looking to transfer to LSU within the year to study amphibians and reptiles under Chris Austin. Hopefully this will take me into New Guinea and South America and there I can catalogue amphibian species and map DNA sequencing.

I was just introduced to paedomorphisis and am quickly becoming hooked so hopefully soon I will be able to add some salamanders to my collection in order to study them.

Tree frogs are my favorite but I do have Bombinas, Ceratophrys ornanta and Leopard geckos (until they find a home).

I am here to learn even more from you guys and get some new ideas on tank builds.

Welcome aboard. I had to look up paedomorphisis. I noticed there is another way to spell it, and when I saw that other spelling, pedomorphisis, I kind of knew what it meant So are you looking to get axolotls?

I am definitely looking into them as well as some salamanders and thankfully the local herp/amphibian store has a ton of new species in

Right now I am looking for more Phyllomedusa tomopterna and am not finding a whole lot So if you know of anyone that has some juvies let me know! I would like to get at least 3 more, from different lines though (which is making it even more difficult).

I can't think of anybody off hand. I know they are being captive bred, I just can't think of who is doing it.

Where is your local herp shop?
