Help!

My red eyed tree frog has what looks like grayish spots. I have attached a photo.....what could it be from???

Is he eating and pooping? I dont have red eyes so I dont know exactly what ailments could befall them. Could be bacterial or it could be as innocent as color change (every time my whites changes she has spots that makes me freak out thinking she has something wrong but they usually go away). How long have they been there?
