    Default Hi from Brazil

    Hi,

    Im just joined the forum.

Im owner of a breeding center for rare or endangered species in south Brazil, found this forum searching inofrmations about Melanophryniscus.

Im specialized in keeping frogs from te southern part of Brazil, that have very special species like Melanophryniscus dorsalis and montevidensis, this last we are hopping to breed for the first time in Brazil. They are very very rare in nature in those days.

My english is not so good! sorry.

So glad you joined this forum. I love to see people from other countries than the US give me information. I'm interested in tree, mantella and dart frogs and find this forum great for a newbie like me. I have been keeping S. America redfoot tortoises for about five years and decided I needed something else to learn about. I'm becoming addicted to planting vivariums. Alice

I don't know if you have noticed all the "Union Jacks" floating around here, but there are just as many Brits here as there are Americans. Then there a quite a few Canadians, some New Zealanders, Swiss, Australians, at least one guy from Vietnam, South Afircans, Argentines, at least one Italian, Spaniards, and so on. Oh there is this other guy from Ireland. My apolgies to anybody that I did not mention.

Welcome aboard. Your English is better than my Portuguese, I can't speak single word of it.

I would love to see pictures of your Melanophryniscus dorsalis and montevidensis, as I am unfamiliar these two species. (I know, a shock to everyone here. I can't possibly know then all.) I do get so excited when I come a cross a species that I don't already know.

Sadly, its true, I don't know every species of frog known to science. I know many, more than most people, just not all them.

Could you post some pictures of the species that you are breeding? I also think that we could learn a lot from you. Great to have you here.

Sounds like I need to explain my comment. I am on several forums where a majority if not all of the members are from the US. That's why I like this forum so much....it's global.
