Hi guys..ive noticed one of my browner frogs somtimes get green spots on him it seems to be just before a colour change so i think hes fine but the first time i saw it it got me thinking.... ive seen threads on here mentioning putting things in frogs water to treat bacteria ect... obviously id take any of my frogs to a vet if they looked un well but so far i havent found any exotic pet vets locally, the closest ive found is quite far away and very expensive is there any products handy to have round the house for emergencies? ie bog standard treatments? that i can just go out & buy or get over the internet?
thanks in advance for any advice.........
For first aid, not really. If you can get a topical antibiotic (triple antiobiotic) for injuries and abscesses/ulcers is about all I can think of. Americans take access to that sort of thing for granted but in Europe you need a prescription for anything with an antibiotic in it (which I totally agree with).

hi john... i agree if i had a very poorly frog which needed an antibiotic id only administer with vet instruction anyway. i was just thinking of home remedies more than anything.. thanks tho......
