Theres a really really intense thunderstorm in my area. My frog is going ape**** hitting the glass i think it's going to hurt itself. what do i do!?
They're pretty hearty, but if he's still going crazy, I'd put him in a softer box/container until he calms down.
Cardboard is horrible for drying out skin, but it won't cause damage if he's in there for a few hours, and better than a traumatic brain injury or even a busted lip.
I changed her to a plastic box until the storm passed. I'll remember about the cardboard because I think the fact that it isn't transparent would be really helpful. This is just the first storm she's weathered in my care. I had no idea it would be this big a deal.
WOW, i am new to FROGS and will be acquiring a pacman in the next month or so, never new in a thunderstorm they would do this, is because they want to breed when storms are happening? Also if placing it in a cardboard box, i would just spray the box to get it a little soft and moist, that way the frog wont get hurt.
yh my frog goes mad when theres loud noises but he just croaks he goes mad mostly when my mum talks and when the wind picks up speed and is really loud
