I am thinking of getting a Pacman and have done a ton of research, but still have some questions.
1) Does anyone here keep Springtails in their Pacman enclosure for help in cleaning? If so, do you have to feed them too?
2) I know they usually poop in 1 of 2 places-their water dish or their hole. I know if they go in their water dish to just take out the dish and clean it, but how do you clean it from the substrate ( I will be using Eco Earth)? Do I just scoop it out with a spoon?
3) How often do you do a through cleanout? Monthly?
I won't be getting one for at least another month or 2 from now. By that time my firebelly toad babies will hopefully be ready to go to their new homes and I will have the time for 1.

I don't keep any sort of "cleaning crew" with my frogs, but it may be an idea to consider in my larger enclosures. However, the whole point of the "cleaning crew" is for them to eat the frog poop and well, clean, so you don't need to feed them anything else.

Frog poop usually hardens over time. If I find it I just use tongs and get it out and throw it away. I suppose scooping it out with a spoon works just as well.

A thorough clean out once a month should be just fine.
