    Default Reptile Show

I just found out that there is going to be a reptile show on Saturday that I may have to go to. I have never been to one, but have been thinking of getting a Pacman frog. what is the going rate of one at a show?

The last show I went to regular crawellis were around 15, albino crawellis were 20-30 and ornates were around 30. You can expect to pay more for rarer colors, like lime green crawellis and high red ornates. Also harder to find species, such as cornutas and caatingas, would be more expensive, if they are available. Hope this helps. You will find good deals at the shows, just make sure the frogs are healthy and the dealer knows what they are doing.

Being one who vends at the San Antonio Texas shows, I will say :

Try to buy form an actual breeder, they usually have knowledge of the animals & can give you a history of the animal you're looking at.
Look the animal over to make sure it is healthy.
If this is your first Pacman, try to avoid buying a wild caught frog. Too many possibilities of bad health or super stressed frogs that will die withing 2 weeks time from shock or stress related issues. Parasites are also a concern.

Have fun & enjoy the show!! No idea about the shows in your area, but the one we vend is a "Hot" show, so they have all kinds of amazing animals there!!
