The shelves are adjustable and 24" deep.
I need something that I can screw ( the frame) into the ceiling rafters.
I saw it at costco on Sunday.

The biggest problem is---- I will need help to carry it into the house by myself !
This means, I will not be able to sneak it in. Just kidding , kind of !! lol

    Super heavy duty :-)

Will hold plenty of tanks and spaced right you can hang some really nice T5 lighting from the bottom of the shelf above :-)

That is a heavy duty shelf! I have both of these in my room and my animal room. I bought these at WalMart. They are easy for me to move by myself.

i think i'd go with the shelf system that Kristen has if it was me, it is a bit more attractive looking. I also saw the same kind of racks that Kristen pictured at Home Depot but i think they were 18" deep only instead of 24"

Lynn i'd suggest bakers racks for ventilation plus being the wire style racks you could run your mist lines easier and attach stuff to them if you need. and if you ever decide to drill holes in the bottoms ever for drains you wouldnt have to worry about drilling the shelves as well

This has open/grill type -- ( adjustable) heavy duty shelves. Plus, they are 24" deep.
I keep my frogs in my basement, so it does not have to be a pc of furniture.
I needed to find something -heavy duty enough- that does NOT have to go against a wall and could be free standing.

Plus the top needs to be adjustable so I can position it under the 48 " /ceiling mounted/ plant lights. of which I have already invested in having installed last year.
I'm hoping this works out. I was thinking of having the electrician back.
I have a sea of wires.
I have the fire department park a truck down the on the corner for me !!!!!!! lol
Seriously, I have 3 ceramics hanging. It is difficult to keep things warm enough.
The ambient temp in the ( unheated ) basement in the winter is about 67-68 F.
It is difficult to keep the 36" high viv warm enough.
Especially the bottoms! If I would love to be able to aim the heat under the shelves!

    shelves look like this:
