    Cool WtF Temls please Look

HI FF! As you know this thread is about the one and only Mr.Jelly He turned two months old today, and for a gift I got him a new Zoo Med thromometer with a string that can go through the cage and hang down and tell me the temp. Well here is the probablem. I guess that the old cheapo gage ones were not persice for me and when it was really like 89 it said 83. So now in the night I guess I was keeping it way to hot. Since I always had a red ligh over his cage due to hot temps now I have to keep I off so the temp will be 77-82. Will Mr.Jelly be okay with his cage and my room pitch dark?

Your white's will prefer the darkness at night over the red heat light and you will probably notice he will be more active at night. He will not be frightened because of darkness.

Oh, and you may want to drop the temp even more at night. Temps should be around 70-75 at night and can be as high as mid 80s during the day.

They are usually most active when its really dark, but you can look into an LED red light for night viewing since they generate almost no heat from the bulb.
