Red face This is what happens when I go to pick up frog food.

I end up picking up a pinky, too. And raising it.

I went to the local pet store to get Tobias and Calvin some food, then on a whim buy a pinky mouse, too. Not even to feed it to one of them. So the lady picks up this pink squirmy tiny jelly bean like thing with arms and drops it into a plastic bag. So when I get into my car, I pull him out and hold him all the way home. x_x The nine days I've had him..have been hell on earth.
I've raised animals before, but not a mouse. I've even bred mice, but not raised one. He eats. EVERY 1 1/2 HOURS. But he's precious and having no sleep has helped fill the hole Delmar left when he died.

So, happy 12 day birthday to Albert. They grow up so fast. I've attached a few pictures of him from last night and one from the first night he was home.

This is really adorable. What and how are you feeding it? I bet he'll be the friendliest mouse ever!

Thank you SwimminSteve! He is fed with a small curved tip syringe with lukewarm kitten milk replacement formula.

Mice are really awesome pets, they're like small dogs! Plus with so many colors there're so many to choose from. He's already terribly friendly and just opened his eyes last night! I seriously would have emotional problems if I ever had to feed one to one of my froggers. Good thing Tobias and Calvin are picky as they come!
