I'm going to purchase the 5.5 inch flukers lamp with the dimmer locally and I will be ordering the stand and bulb from petmountain.com

    Lamp Stand =

Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand - Small Reptile Lighting Accessories

    Bulb =

Exo-Terra Sun-Glo Tight Beam Basking Bulbs Reptile Incandescent Bulbs
Nooooo!!!!! not that bulb. You want the Heat Glo NOT Sun Glo. Remember you have an Albino you cannot use daylight basking lamps or any regular spotlight basking bulbs. You need Infrared. Lol!!

    Receiving my order on monday

On another note. Found some night crawlers. Only 3 bucks for 20. Decided to try them out tonight but, my frog acted like he didn't even see them... Welp maybe skip a day or two of feeding and then try again?

How long can you keep night crawlers in the fridge?

    Thanks!

Tried again tonight with the night crawlers... Totally ignores them!
So my curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to see if he was even hungry. I was kinda worried he was sick or something.
Well, I threw a cricket in there and boom. GONE with in a couple seconds... So he def wants to eat.
Is it ok to make him hungry just so I can feed him worms?

Most will accept worms once they're trained to tong feed. If he will accept crickets from tongs you may be able to get him to accept pieces of Night Crawler. Once he gets a taste for night crawlers you can offer larger pieces up until he is large enough for whole ones.

    Thanks GriftheGreat.

Tried to offer another piece of worm. Refused it. I'm going to purchase some more crickets tomorrow and only try to tong feed them to him. Hopefully he/she will learn.

When you offer them with the tongs you can move them slowly twards the frog's face so it believes the insect is coming near on its own. Some take to it right away and some never learn.

    Keep us posted.

    Thanks everyone!
She's only about the size of a half dollar.I read somewhere about giving a break on crickets because it can back them up. I still can't get her to tong feed so I can get her to eat worms. Should I give her a break in between feedings until she poops?

Penelope is def. a boy haha... "he" has grown quite a bit and has the nuptial pads...the dead give away was when I heard "her" calling!... She does have a slightly deformed jaw but I love her anyways.... He has however been sitting in the waterbowl for the past 3-4 days... is it mating season or something?

Very cool frog. If you see him in his water bowl drop a half worm in. Mine will only eat worms in the water and he goes crazy for em.
