he's big enough for pinkies. Bullfrogs American and especially African are more than capable of eating rodents. not for every meal obviously. But ANY giant pyxi bigger than a tad pole can safety and easily eat NEW pinkies. I have kept them for 10 years and feed a diet of 70% earth worms 15% mice and 15% roaches and they do great.
