Our local Chemist thinks we're crazy (Went in looking for needle-less syringes to give one of my toads some MBD meds & ended up explaining all about them)
A few months later one dispenser asked how our lot were doing and asked how many we had. When I replied 28 she was extremely shocked, and asked if my mum had an OCD type collecting disorder.
She went beetroot red when I told her they were my frogs not my mums and poor girl hasn't asked or mentioned them again ever since![]()
You're right it's spreading. I definitely have it.
I became infected today. I saw another baby Green Cranwelli. at our. local petstore and picked him right up.
Most definitely have it. Started early last year with my first frog, Octavian (RIP) and has continued since. I have 8 frogs now (5 Fowler's Toads and 3 Gray Tree Frogs) and honestly, I want another Pacman frog and 2 Green Tree Frogs. If I keep this up people are going to start saying "Lizardmama went from all lizards to amphibians, what do we call her now?".![]()
I know a lot of people have been infected by this disease but nobody knows about the magnitude of it's condition....LOL.
I saw some bumblebee toads at the local shop. Only reason they didn't get picked up is because I dont have a set up up and running. Considering building something for them tho and going back to get them![]()
Shhhhh You'll reuine my Brown rep. Lol!! I did and this little guy is in great shape. He's about the size of a quarter maybe smaller and on the first night he ate like a little monster. He ate 6 small calcium dusted crickets and was looking for more. will get pics up soon.
PS) He even ate for me from tongs.![]()
I'm pretty sure I have the addiction. I've got 5 in less than 2 months and I've got another 18 coming in a couple wks lol..
I became infected three year ago! "They" have tried everything! No luck. It just gets worse and worse!
They only thing that seems to provide some temporary relieve.............is............ more frogs !
