FROG ADDICTION also known as Frog Insanity- is a obsessive compulsive disorder and a rare form of disease from an unknown pathological cause.

Clinical manifestation are usually characterized by uncontrollable urge/obsession to acquire frogs of any kind immediately upon visual contact but the most prominent trigger factors seems to be the Pacmans and the Tree frogs. The fixation is usually triggered by the frog’s harsh cuteness accompanied by it’s splendid coloration ranging from greens, browns and the recent development of the new morphs seems to enhance it’s ability to be highly infectious.

There is no known treatment/cure existing at the moment and the only way to avoid or control the spread of infection is to keep away from visiting places like petshop, frog photo galleries specially in this forum to avoid contact with people already infected by this rare form of disease. Supportive intervention maybe given to those people already infected by allowing them to acquire more frogs to minimize stress and to provide more comfort.

Any suggestion or advice to control the spread this infection will be deeply appreciated or NOT…LOL
Omg I'm think I'm sick. Perhaps I need to see an Anuran psychiatrist...

Our local Chemist thinks we're crazy (Went in looking for needle-less syringes to give one of my toads some MBD meds & ended up explaining all about them)
A few months later one dispenser asked how our lot were doing and asked how many we had. When I replied 28 she was extremely shocked, and asked if my mum had an OCD type collecting disorder.
She went beetroot red when I told her they were my frogs not my mums and poor girl hasn't asked or mentioned them again ever since

Most definitely have it. Started early last year with my first frog, Octavian (RIP) and has continued since. I have 8 frogs now (5 Fowler's Toads and 3 Gray Tree Frogs) and honestly, I want another Pacman frog and 2 Green Tree Frogs. If I keep this up people are going to start saying "Lizardmama went from all lizards to amphibians, what do we call her now?".

I saw some bumblebee toads at the local shop. Only reason they didn't get picked up is because I dont have a set up up and running. Considering building something for them tho and going back to get them

But I have this feeling that deep inside you are praying that they have to be there the next time you visit the place so you can still have them...LOL.
