mossy frog setup?

So like anything on the internet there is a lot of different opinions on what works and what doesn't. I have a 55 gallon and was thinking of splitting it 50/50 land and water. Would this work? Or are they better off with a mostly aquatic setup with a few places to pop up?

I have never owned these but I have friends that do and what they do is for young frogs they use 50/50 but as the frog grows older they tend to want to be in the water more.

So they will take a tank and fill it with water with shallow gravel and then put many branches in the water for the frog to escape the water if needed.

Don't forgot that they are tree dwellers, not only swimmers. Make sure you have a lot of climbing (and hiding) space (not just to brake the water surface). Short answer, you'd want a tropical tree frog terrarium, but with a large water part (moving water is good) and not that high temperature (20C is warm enough).
