I've had some tadpoles, and now have a couple of frogs. The problem is they're really small, even with four legs and pretty much no tail. They're nearly always out of the water on a rock, and I doubt they'll eat lettuce any more like the tadpoles. I know that pet frogs like to eat insects such as crickets and worms, but the frogs are without any doubt much smaller than the insects to be able to eat them. So if they don't eat lettuce, and they can't eat insects, what DO I feed them? Please help, I need to find out soon!
Wingless fruit flies, isopods, bloodworms are some choices. You can also use calcium powder and vitamin supplements on the flies and bloodworms.
1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf/ Frog - Agalychnis callidryas
1.1.1 Bumblebee Dart Frog - Dendrobates leucomelas
1.1.0 Dendrobates truncatus - Yellow Striped

Where can I buy wingless fruit flies and bloodworms? Do the bloodworms have to be alive when given? Thanks!![]()
pet stores in your area might have them. if not im sure there are sponsers of this website who sell them. and i would think the bloodworms need to be alive so they can see them moving.
You can order springtails from joshsfrogs.com.

When I raised R.Temporaria I used exotic-pets.co.uk to get fruit flies for my froglets. You might find a better site, here on the IOM they didn't arrive for 3-4 weeks!
Ask around on reptileforums.co.uk, there may be some people in your area who are willing to sell you some. Good luck!
