I just recently found out that one of the new additions to my tank, a Gray Tree Frog, is a male which would bring me to 2 males and 1 female. Will this cause problems later on? Will they fight?
I just added a second male to my tank and would like to know about fighting as well.
I believe my two Grey Tree Frogs I have housed together to both be male. They don't fight - that I have noticed. They tend to hang out near one another a lot. But, then again I have only heard one croak, so I may have caught myself a pair without doing it on purpose. lol. >_<
I find the new (male) Gray Tree Frog a bit on the odd side. I thought he was a juvenile until the day after I caught him. His throat is not dark, it's white, but he gets a good bubble under his chin and croaks right loud, just as loud as the other male (Inconnu). I named the smaller male Poco, my 1 female is named Primavera.
The little one (darker one) is Poco, the big one is the female (Primavera) and the one under the stick is Inconnu:

I would love to find a female but I hear they are hard to find.
In the area I'm in they are found a lot. Primavera was the second GTF I caught, she was just sitting/basking on the arm on my lawn chair (I live with a creek in my back yard). The smaller male I was surprised to find, he was on the ground, not on a tree, and was hopping around on the ground.
My first was on the side of my house by the porch light and the second was in small bush. Both are male though. They do have really cool calls so that is one plus with a male.
Inconnu was found by a friend who said he was injured, I've had him for 2 months now and he is far from injured. Primavera was found on the arm of my lawn/porch chair, when I went out to get her she jumped off and clung onto the side of my house, I approached her from behind and caught her. Poco though was caught in the woods, on the ground, no where near a tree. My other frogs (Fowler's Toads) were found in front of my house near my Azalea bushes
I have a lot of Fowler's and American Toads around my house. I have thought about building a habitat for some but they are so abundant that all I have to do is go outside at night and they are everywhere.
I put out my Solar Lights for a reason along my sidewalk and driveway, the Fowler's Toads always pop up around them at night (not only do the lights give light to my sidewalk and driveway but they also attract bugs which attracts the frogs).
They won't fight, but the poor female will be carrying a heavy load during mating season...... if ya know what I mean.

Poor Primavera. Maybe I should think about finding another girl Gray Tree Frog, that way she's not carrying extra during the breeding season. Btw when is that?
Here in NC they start to call early March and sing all summer long. They also take 2 years to mature.
