Hi Everyone! I just got my first Dumpy (I like that name better than White's lol) on Saturday. I was wondering if his age can be guesstimated by his size? Not that his age is entirely important, I'm just curious and I haven't seen their growth stages so I have no clue. I have a picture of the little guy on my hand, for size reference. Since they get 3-4 inches I'm assuming he's a baby?

hi... he looks about the same size as mine, (photo across) i think mine are months only the pet store wasnt sure... in fact they had some in there the other day that were so small they were the size of my thumb nail!... so cute!!
on the other hand mine croak and i read somewhere they had to be a year to do that.... that might not be corrrect tho.
I replyied to your other post about feeding but after seeing this post... he will be just fine with small crickets at his size no problem if mine are anything to go by...........![]()
It's very hard to guess frog ages because their growth rate is based on temperature and food. The only guess I can make with some certainty is that the frog is under 18 months of age.
