help with lighting

hello,

Could any one tell me if this will be a suitable light to keep on at night on my terrarium at night for my red eyed tree frogs if not could you recommend a light please I have been using a nightglo but they don't seem to like it and it gets very hot thanks

You want to use a full spectrum fluorescent lamp as a night lamp? That's obviously not going to work for you, since you'll be taking away their night. They need darkness at night and a bright lamp won't give them that. If you already tried a subtle nightglo and that was enough to disturb them, you're probably not going to find a lamp that's subtle enough to not disturb them. This is a nocturnal species which thrives in completely dark, so provide them with that.

No i don't sorry i posted the wrong light its a Zoo Med Nightlight Red Bulb 15w i meant to put

That makes more sense, hehe. You could always try, but since the red lights are much brighter than the blue-ish Night glo, it's likely that they'll be just as disturb (if not more) by a red light.
