Whites tree frog *help!!

Hey guys my whites tree frog got bit by my bearded dragon on the hind leg! and it kind of crushed his foot and bit off a few toes :'( will he be ok? he's 1 month old , also he has transparent sides on his body :-? And he's not eating? Someone please help he hanst eaten for a week!

Yikes! Sounds like it's time to see a vet! In the mean time, you should quarantine your little frog in a hospital tank with clean dechlorinated water soaked paper towels, small very clean dish with dechlorinated water, and maybe treat with neosporin WITHOUT PAIn RELIEVER, as the pain reliever will euthanize your frog.
Others here have a lot more experience than I, so hopefully someone will chime in.

By the way, how in the world did your frog get bit by a bearded dragon in the first place? I hope they're not housed together!

Also, if you can find it, I put my faith in Zoo med's repti wound-healing aid. Saved my little Percy's arm when the cat decided to "play" with him. It dosn't have any antibiotic in it, though, so this is a temporary thing to help stop any bleeding. But if you are not sure if the neosporin has any pain relievers in it, DO NOT CHANCE IT. Like Bolisnide said, it will kill him.

Your best move now, after moving him to a hospital tank, is to call a herp vet asap. If your frog isn't eating it probably means either infection or stress or your frog is in a LOT of pain. (my bet, all 3)

I also hope your not housing them together. Bearded Dragons get MUCH bigger then whites and its probable that the lizard saw the baby as food rather then a tank mate. Bearded Dragons are wonderful lizards but should not be housed with anything that could potentially scream "LUNCH" to them which includes anything they THINK can fit in there mouths, not what will but what they think will. Not to mention these guys often tear apart there pray if its too large. They should be housed with others of there kind (of relatively the same size) or alone.

Hey guys thanks for your posts . I have taken him to a vet and he is doing very well. I don't house them together but my ******* 8 year old cousin decided to take my bear die out and force fed my frog to him he was lucky I went into the room to get my iPod and just in time saved his leg just the bear die did get a few chomps on him :'( I have bought a lock for my bear dies cage and yelled at my cousin and he's no longer allowed to go unsupervised handling my herps. Also my bear die is doing ok ey say The frog gives off some kinda toxins and could of harmed him . Nonetheless thanks for your replies!

Oh my gawd! I'm so glad you went back in! Not to sound preachy but sometimes God tells you you need to be in a specific place and I think this was one of those times. I'm so very happy you were able to save both the frog from being eaten and the dragon from being poisoned. I'm assuming it was because he didn't get a very large bite that he didn't get enough toxins in him to cause harm. Keep an eye on him but I'd assume you would have seen signs of poisoning by now.

I'm so so so so so so SO! glad hes doing well! He may be a little handicapped because of the missing toes but most species of animal in the world are able to adapt fairly quickly and effectively to missing or damaged limbs (take my 3 legged rat terrier for instance. shes faster then our old greyhounds, one a grand champion, and stronger then some pit bulls I've seen. and scrappier then a golden ). I'm sure if he makes it threw the initial treatment you'll have a happy healthy frog who wont really notice a difference. ^w^

Oh my gosh.. If I were you that kid would be getting a serious butt whopping!
Good idea on the cage lock and I hope both frog and beardie stay well.
