Hey everyone
I'm almost finished with my retf build and I am just in preparation to add the land to my tank. I was hoping to divide the water and land area off by using expanding foam and covering with silicon and eco earth. Would this be ok and would this last being submerged in water constantly?
Appreciate any advice or experience.
Cheers
Jon
The expanding foam and silicone will withstand being wet constantly but not sure how the eco earth will hold up over a long period. I haven't tried it to be sure it wouldn't just rot.

This was my concern but I wasnt sure as a lot of the eco earth would be wet constantly on the background and as the substrate itself. Does anybody have any experience with this?
Thanks
Jon.
