Scotts Topsoil Review
0/5 rating (My pyxie couldn't agree more)
Just wanted to warn others to stay away from all natural Scotts Topsoil found at Walmart or any hardware store. The bag claims there is no sticks or other debris when in fact there was a lot.
I bought it trying to save a little bit of cash instead of replacing coconut fiber so much. It comes in the big bags for $2. My pixie got messed up from it for about a month and half, barely eating, lethargic, and not going in water. As soon as I put him back on coconut fiber he has been active, back in the water, and eating dubia like a beast.

Thank you for the heads up! It is much appreciated. I'm always worried I'm going to buy bad products.
Yeah, no problem. Another big bag of top soil I would buy was made by eco-earth at home depot to mix 50/50 with coconut fiber. That one was ok except it also had forest debris in it that totally eliminated being able to feed your pyxie in his own dirt.
I never could find one that was nothing but dirt.
