Any of these (individually or in combination) can lead to this behaviour:

-Lack of cover
-Cooler temperatures
-Insufficient humidity

thanks for your replys.... hes buried himself again the heat is 74 and the humidity is 65%... by lack of cover do you mean not enough places to hide ie leaves & stuff?

Yes. Cover would be foliage and other places for the frog to hide, thus feeling secure.
