    Unhappy Is Steve sad?

    hi,
    Steve has resantly moved tank and is looking sad he is sitting in the corner of his tank is he sick I never in 7 years of keeping pac man have come across this any help and is a muddy diry tank fine becuse my habbitat is a pond and a flower pot and lots of mud and dirt shouldn't steve dig his in?
    please help in am worry.

    Steve would probably much prefer a nice moist (not wet) Eco earth substrate with some nice plants (fake or real) to hide under and a nice water bowl.

    See the pacman care sheet in the caresheet section or on the home page.

    I imagine he is not happy which could lead to illness. I would change things to his needs, preferably soon.

    put in 2 fake plants an change the substance but I am keeping his water dish I guess he is stressed

    Did he burrow in after you switched to Eco. Earth Coco fiber? The rule of thumb for substrate for them is moist or heavily damp not muddy. What are the temp and humidity levels? Did the potted plant contain fertilizers?

    yes and no he has dug a big hole at the back of the flower pot at sits in that at day and by night is in his pond.keep me posted really worryed and the temp is 24-260c and 70% but am going to mist.

    Raise his temps a little higher and try and offer him some earthworms. Cover 3 sides of his tank with some sort of background for security.
