I currently use coco fiber for my abf's.. I seen some organic sphagnum peat moss in a HUGE bag at lowes the other day for 10 bucks and wondered if I was able to use this for them instead? Thought id ask before buying, didnt wanna chance anything

Stick to coco. It's safe if your frog happens to swallow it. Moss on the other hand can cause impaction wich can be fatal.

At my local plant nursery they have blocks/mini bales of cocofiber for $13.00 it expands to 2.5 cu feet. Lasts me 4 months or so depending on how often I change the cages. Its much cheaper than buying single bricks of cocofiber.
Nice! I have no idea if we have a plant nursery around here. lol.. Guess thats something ill be looking at. I just got 3 bricks of coco fiber for about 7 bucks. Sounds like your may be a better deal? haha.

i agree with sticking to coco fiber... i feel better with the stuff that is meant for animals, because i'd fear the stuff intended for gardens might have some kind of chemical in it
so if our frog eats a bit of coco fiber, no problems? pixie can digest coco fiber?
