Hi guys
I am a bit concerned about my male Whites Tree Frog. Yesterday morning he was in his water bowl at 8am, which is odd, because he usually is hiding at that time in a wood hollow. Then last night he was sitting in his water bowl again and I took him out and he was very lethargic and weak. He is usually very flighty when he sees me and jumps away, but last night I picked him up without any issues and he just sat in my hand. I can see he is weak when he jumps - he can still get a grip on things but its not his usual 100% strength. This morning he was basking under the spot light, which is extremely odd for him.
Tonight I am going to feed him in a seperate container to make sure he is feeding and dust the crickets with calcium - would you guys recommend that I rather feed Dubia roaches as they have a higher nutritional content?
I keep him and the female in the same enclosure and nothing has physically changed in the enclosure in the last month. We moved house a month back but their behaviour never changed, the female is fine and healthy and alert, its just the last 2 days that the male has been acting odd. We have been going into our winter months the last few weeks but their light cycle hasn't changed on their timers, we have actually had some warmer weather the last week.
He has had a patch on his back, but this was since I bought him last year October, you can above his left eye:
