    Because the only frogs I have are toads, I see maybe 1 tree frog every year, and a frog that sounds like a horn

    I don't think it is in Witchita Falls ( close to where I lives

    Lol but we have TOnS of those horned lizards, Cotton mouths,( one hissed at me last weekend) , garden snakes, copper heads ( found a mommy last summer) and salamanders in my pool

    I want to do some field herping out here but I have no clue where to go. Theres a nice wooded area with a river/lake on the air force base I work on but I don't know if I'm allowed to go out there. I see airmen fishing in it all the time though.

    I would love to go frog herping but with my fear of snakes , I am too scarred

    I was just in Austin not long ago and we went to McKinney Roughs and did some field work...it was amazing! Check out your local state parks, there are a dozen within 60 miles of you.
