Her feet look to be healing...good job! I'm glad she's eating for you and passing feces. That is a great sign.

I hope she continues to improve for you .

    Will !!
It looks better!!! Definitely smaller. Woohoo! Keep up the good work!
It originally crossed the entire width of her 'heel' (ha - I don't know if a frog has a heel I think it's called a calcaneum)
I bet your happy to see this.
    Keep us posted.

So my little girl is stuck at a spot where I cannot see her feet to see if they have healed. I am still doing the tea drops. However I am slightly worried now because she has not moved since Friday which means she has not eaten in 4 days. She is starting to look a little on the skinny side plus I am worried about dehydration due to no time in the water bowl. This morning I checked in on her before I left for work and her skin was splotchy with 2 different shades of green. Should I be worried or just keep doing what I am doing?

    Will,
I would stop the tea drops ( she looked better the other day !)
AND consider doing a 1:10 Pedialyte ( unflavored ) soak to re-hydrate her
( 1 pedi: to 10 distilled water ) you can do this right in her tank in a little shallow - covered container
-then put her back into her regular enclosure
-w/ plenty of dusted / small crickets for tonight- make dinner an easy catch ! ( use a bowl if she is accustomed to it )
otherwise feed her the way she is used to plus a bowl
-be extremely careful handling her ( damp hands/ or damp powder free gloves)

    what do you think?

    OK thank you Lynn!

I will pick up some pedialyte on my way home from work tonight and start the soaks. I have continued the tea drops because I could not see her feet and wanted to make sure that they were healed. I have been trying the food bowl the last couple of nights because it is easier to keep track of the crickets, however since she has not moved I am not sure if she will eat from it or not. I will do the bowl and some free roamers tonight to open all options and hopefully encourage some feating.

Thanks again Lynn you have been such a big help with my new little friend.

OK so I did the Pedialyte soak last night. I sure as heck did not make any friends, when I put her back in her tank she crawled into one of the corners; buried her head and had her rear pointed at me. I am sure if she could talk she would have made a sailor blush. The good news is this morning her skin is almost completely back to normal, so me and my little froggy owe you a big thanks Lynn!

As far as eating she did not last night, I think she may have been a little spooked after the soak. I put some fresh crickets in a bowl before I left this morning, just on the case that maybe she wakes up hungry in the middle of her night.

I looked at her feet and her heel is a little red again so I decided that I would keep her in the hospital tank a little longer.

Well there is the update for today! Hopefully more good news within the next day or 2.

Yay! I'm so happy shes doing so well!!!!!!

And yes. Sometimes its tough love but she will eventually get over it. Specially if she realizes it is helping her. Helly didn't like being forced into a bath when she needed it and neither did Percy. Now Baby didn't mind but he was a Pac Man not a tree frog. X3

    Again, YAY Good News!

Ok so an update after the weekend. Her foot is still pink (but looking better) so she is still in the hospital tank. Saturday night was a good night. I threw 8 crickets in the tank with her before I went to bed and when I woke up Sunday morning there was 7 of the 8 missing and she looked a little chunky. It looks like things are headed in the appropriate direction. I hope to have her out of the Hospital tank by the end of the week!
