I hate to be the "Negative Nancy" in this thread, but when you say *rescue* from a pet store - you aren't really "rescuing" them - you're BUYING them. And thus when you give the store money you are just giving them the funds to go out to buy new stock....

I'm happy for your new addition and she looks great. I couldn't see how anyone couldn't have snatched her up either.

Vey true! This store actually isn't too bad, her cage was small but decent, she had enough water and shade. She has just been in that tank waaaayyyy to long and had to get her out. I am taking her to the vet soon to get checked out. Just in case. More the animals at that store are in good condition for the most part But thank you though!
