Its made out of polystyrene. I used non toxic acrylic paints and grout to add texture I patted the old brush on the wet grout.
I hope you all like it sorry its not a long post Im using wood adhesive to seal it which is also non toxic i also made a cave in the big rock if you can see it
I carved out the rocks by using my finger nails Hope you like it
EDIT: The vivarium is much bigger than it looks in the picture.

I'm really glad it turned out well considering im only 13 and well i thought it would just collapse and fail So hopefully I can start putting soil and plants and water etc in the vivarium

so you took a thick piece of styrofoam and carved into yes? Looks pretty good for your first one. Let me give you some tips for the next one you make. If you use a thin piece to be your main platform then you take another piece the same thickness and cut your rocks out of that and attach them to the other piece. And a way to really enhance it is by making different thicknesses by adhering a couple pieces together and then forming it into a rock. When all your rocks are the same thickness or purtrude out to the same plain it gives it a more man made look vs a natural look in my opinion. You want to try and get your rocks on different plains. Think of it like this, you don't want to be able to take like a sheet of paper and set it on top of your background and have every rock have some point touching the paper. Some should, some shouldn't. Some should be lower than the paper some higher than. Hopefully that makes sense, but again, not bad, they only get better as you make more
