So what do you do, does it hurt the frogs, and how do you get rid of it?

I'd assume that all molds are just a part of the cycle in a vivarium... I occasionally get some white fuzzy mold on my substrate, but have never seen slime mold in my tank and I know nothing about slime molds.
I've been told that springtails can help keep the fungi under control, but I've never tried it.
Lynn, no substrate? I've thought of doing that too. Then do you just keep your plants in pots?
