Can you take a closer pick of the toads? Do they have a light stripe down their back?

I'm not that great with toads. I know the common ones basicly so I have no idea what these guys are.

But they look very pretty. Almost black in color?

Japonicus? When I searched this out on the web all I found were sea shells. Do you have the scientific name? What ever they are, they are beautiful.

From a lovely lady called Dr. Katharina Heuberger from Germany. She and her husband breed all kinds of Bufo-species including japonicus.

They have GOT to be my favorite bufo, but I'll most likely never have one, or even get to see on in person. 2nd would have to be the smooth sided toad. You're so lucky.

I've been trying to get my hands on these for a long time! I find a person that says they can get them but it's been months and I seriously doubt I'll be getting them.... So sad they have been a favorite of mine for so long. Ever since I fist laid eyes on one!

If you DO get your hands on one or some, PLEASE let me know the source. At one time on faunaclassifieds there was someone asking if anyone was interested in having these & I was hoping it was to compile a list to make it worth it to import them. This was last summer.

I'll send you a pm. I don't want to post it here because I don't know if things are going to go through or if they are trustworthy. I wouldn't want to get anyone's hopes up. Or if they are a "bad guy" I wouldn't want anyone to loose money. However if I ever do get my toads I'll come back and sing praise lol!
