Try properly sized bits of nightcrawlers. Once our froglets are on land, we give them 3 days or so to fully absorb the nutrients from their tails and then we offer foods. We have not had to force feed froglets that young since our first attempts at breeding years ago because they all seem very aggressive in their feeding responses now. I have a theory..... we have found that each spawning over the years has produced healthier tadpoles & froglets as we tweak key husbandry points.

I say offer them a variety of food and make sure whatever it is, that it is the proper size. I know these frogs are like the Pitbulls of the frog world, but they do have limits as to how big food items should be. We start with the worms because the legs on the crickets & roaches seem to freak them out as froglets.

Good Luck!
