About 2 inches from head to tail when stretched out. I haven't measured it recently though.

Finally got the tank moved to my room. Now lifting it on to the stand is going to be fun. It's heavy. Can't wait to set it up and decorate it!

Update: tank is setup. Just need plants now. Rescued some minnows from the local bait shop. Looking good, I'll be posting pics later.

    Congrats on the new turtle.
I keep a Mud Turtle and Ouachita Map Turtle. A heads up on a few things I found out. Never use goldfish as feeders, always go for the rosy reds when feeding fish. If you add the mystery snails you won't have to worry about the tip of their mouth getting overgrown or sharp. Also they love to rip a crayfish apart! And once yours starts growing the BEST filter to use is the Eheim canister. I rarely have to clean my tank thanks to it and there is no yucky smell
    Enjoy him/her!
