Hi all,

I was directed from a member of another forum as i'm having problems feeding my baby horned frogs and was hoping maybe someone on here could help me. The froglets I have are ones I have bred myself and i've tried breeding these twice and both times i've had problems feeding the babies once they metamorphosise into froglets. The first time I was only left with a few froglets that did show a feeding response, it seems the same this time with only a couple showing feeding responses and if they miss the food they seem to give up. They have been out of the water for a few days and it may seem like i'm worrying to much about this but the froglets are starting to get very skinny and I think it may be a repeat of last time. Food has been left in over night hoping that the problem was maybe too much disturbance but not one has eaten anything yet, i've tried baby roaches, worms, small crickets and only two have attempted to eat. There being kept in cricket tubs, 26c with damp paper towel until they get a bit bigger, I tried keeping them on a coco fibre substrate the first time I had froglets but none ate then so I was hoping with just paper towel they would maybe catch the food but is there anyone that could maybe advise me on how I could get them to start eating?

Thanks
