Swollen toe on my red eyed tree frog

So I just have paper towel and his water dish and moved the heating pad. I'm trying to post a picture

good the picture worked. You can see his left front food looks a bit swollen and the farthest toe seems to be the problem

I was able to view the pic in the album.
Well you are right . It's his toe and the outer part of his foot.
Is the area red as well? It's a little hard to tell in the pic.
Could he have been an injury from prior to your purchasing him?

Do you see anything that looks like a bite?
Take all uneaten crickets out of the enclosure after he goes back to sleep ( in the morning)
If you should see any broken skin - post immediately.

Keep a very close eye on him.

I would throw in a couple of small crickets each night to keep him eating.
Were you able to get the calcium and vitamins to dust his food?

If you see any deterioration( increase swelling or redness ) in the area I would bring him to a herp vet. Give it a couple of days.
Search for a herp vet NOW, in your area ,so you are prepared if needed.

He looks good from what I can see otherwise.
Keep in a smaller "hospital" type enclosure for now- keep it really clean and simple.
Cover tree sides so feels safer.
A smaller enclosure will help you monitor his food intake and poop.
Plus , for now , the small quarters will help rest this foot.

I hope you have had a chance to read the care sheet!
It is very important to prepare proper housing or he will be stressed and become ill.
You could temporarily transfer him to a 10 gallon glass aquarium w/ a lid for now.
You should continue to use the paper towel substrate on the bottom until he is better and a very clean soaking dish!

It looks like the two little joints there are inflamed?
Maybe it got pinched?
Does he have any difficulty walking, climbing or ie lifting himself on to the water dish?
