Very similar to red eyed tree frog w/ humidity and vivarium. Needs smaller crickets. They are very shy and do well with a lot of foliage - esp ones big enough for them to hang out on. I usu buy everything captive bred, but took a chance on these that are wild caught. If I were to do it again, I would recommend CB (Michael Novy has some and is awesome - Rainforest Junkies) Ya - I should have bought from him and paid the shipping!

Sorry Heather, never saw this post!

They are fairly hardy, but sooo shy! Out of the 4, I have had 1 casuality - he was kinda the skinny one. Like I said, buy captive bred if you can! These were wild caught - they aren't the same!

Ah, no worries...when I'm off for a few days I come back to so much to read I seem to always miss a few. My tapatalk was froze up for a good week and now I've got a bunch to catch up on.

They do well in a taller vivarium with controlled ventilation. Exo terra cages are perfect, just put a piece of glass over the top.. They should have live plants with leaves strong enough to support their weight. They are easy, but very shy. If you are a night owl, you may catch a glimpse of them. Give Michael Novy a call - he has CB frogs!

males get up to 1 1/2 inches while females may get up to 2 - 2 1/2. There is so much info out there on the internet - I would suggest you look them up and see if they are the right frogs for you! Good luck

Man, did you buy these early? I went to that repticon (I'm up in Provo) and I didn't see them...who did you buy them from? I have one adult male clown and have been looking to get him a friend or two. Crazy....
