They reach the size of Cranwellies from what I understand which is the size. Mark posted above. If its a male he should be calling by now. Dark spots on the throat isn't always a sure sign, but can be used to idenify gender in some species. Males of most species will begin to call between 5 1/2 and 8 months of age.

If you've been feeding him well and giving proper supplements as. Well as climate and it is male than this is not too small for his age.

The caatinga size ive noticed is not consistant. There are some larger and smaller size adults. Really just depends on what you feed them early on in life.
