I am getting ok with frogs. With the First part of scientific names like Litoria subglandulosa - New England treefrog I know that Litoria is Australian area frogs
There is a region in New South Wales called New England. So yes there is a New England in Australia.
Tom, Litoria is a genus in the subfamily Pelodryadinae or Australasian treefrogs. The Australasian eco-zone includes Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand and the islands of the Southwestern Pacific. It does not include the Philippines, Borneo, Sumatra, Java, or Sulawesi which are part of the Oriental zone, which also includes Southeast Asia, Southern China, Hainan, and India.
