Yesterday, I asked someone to help me remove my Chinese edible frog (Hoplobatrachus rugulosus) from his container for a picture. However, the little critter (measuring about an inch long) used the opportunity to hop to freedom. We tried to chase the little guy throughout the small garden enclosure, but to no avail. He's now living in the wild, and I'm afraid if he will be able to survive on his own. The temperature is now at a scorching 30 degrees Celsius. Does he have a chance of survival and mature into an adult frog? Thanks.
