Default Was It Simply Too Big??

I tossed a Meal Worm, a normal sized one, to one of my Fowler's Toads (Fille) who hadn't eaten yet and one of my Toadlets grabbed it and ate it. A few seconds after he downed the Mealie (with some difficulty as the worm was about as long as he was) he lurched it up. Was the worm just simply too much for him to handle? I was surprised he actually went for it, I was only expecting Fille to go for the worm (I only give Meal Worms to the frogs as treats because of their hard outer shell).

My female Fowler's will eat anything you put in the feeding cup so be careful what you put in there. And yes they will spit things out they don't like or might be to big. My male HATES dubia roaches but the female will take them. I guess they all have their own likes and dislikes.

Jabba (The Hutt) seemed to of been fine as afterwards he ate a big Wax Worm. After him spitting up the Meal Worm and then eating a Waxie afterwards, the name kinda fit lol. Plus right after the Waxie he also ate 3 Crickets. No problem with this toadlets appetitie
