Thanks for info and quick reply. This is my first go at amphibians. I wanted another species from the tortoises I keep. The color change is fascinating and am glad it's mood and not stress or illness. The little critter seemed pretty adjusted and eating crickets. On another note, We are raising golden Panamanian frogs at the Zoo and have a number of tadpoles and eggs from two breeding pairs. My supervisor is an expert on amphibians.
