Default The "must haves" of WTF keeping??

Ok, so when I was pregnant, i read all these sites and the articles said "you need this! you need that!" and i bought everything... and used like half of it!

So right now, a friend of a friend has a WTF and his girlfriend told him to get it out of the house. So he's thinking about just throwing it outside!! AHH!! no! I have a feeling i *might* have a new frog baby in my near future.. However, I've never had one before, and i'm wondering what are your "must haves" and what do you wish someone had told you before you got one? =)

There is a great guide up at the top of the forum thats very straight to the point and dosn't add any extras to what you need.

But as far as I can see the absolute must haves are a 15-20 gal vivarium (depending on size). Large sticks (large enough they can sit on without breaking or falling off of them), some plants (real or not, dosn't matter really but real are easier to care for), and a water bowl large enough for it to soak in. Oh, and a heating system. I have a UTH (under tank heater) that covers most of the bottom of the tank to keep the temps at the right level. If you give them plenty of "up" space (perches large enough to sit on, preferably with some sort of cover to hide) then they can move away from the heat source when they want to. Another option is a light system but you'll need day and night bulbs to make sure the temps are kept constant.

And of course a temp and hydrometer.

Oro? Hu! Your right. Thats silly. Well I keep mine between 70 and 90 percent. 90 being when its just been misted and 70 being if its been left too long. I usually mist 2-3 times a day at least, sometimes more. Oh ya. A plain spray bottle is just fine. You dont need anything special like the frog fogers unless you tend to forget to mist.
