    Default So stupid!

Got up this morning to find the OH has put the paradise fish and two mollies in with kermit! Can't even take them out because he has emptied the other tank so it needs filling and cycling. So angry with him right now. All seems fine ATM but at the first sign of trouble those fish are off to a new home til their tank is ready :-@

His reasoning being, and I quote "I'd prefer them to all be in one tank" never mind the risk to the fish or frog!!!

even if the other tank needs filling/cycling... (did he throw away the filter media? you might be able to salvage some of the bacteria!)
you need to remedy this ASAP. Even moving the frog to the uncycled tank and doing multiple water changes is better than leaving them together.

Also, are these new fish? If so then he might also have just introduced disease in with your frog. The mollies will probably be picked off at night as they hover close to the bottom trying to sleep. The paradise fish is just a risk all around.

Even moving the frog to the temporary tank is better than nothing. The fish should stay in the cycled tank for now because fish breathe the water, frogs don't, so you have to balance each of their needs with the situation.

I'm so so angry with him, the fish are completely ignoring the frog, but it has served the purpose is proving just how not herself she is right now. They swim right by her and she doesn't move, I dropped her favourite bloodworm right in front of her and she hasn't touched it. The fish are being moved but I just don't hold up much hope for Kermit :-(
