Default Great Stuff and seran wrap

anyone know if GS will stick to seran wrap? I have an idea of wrapping my net pots in seran wrap before I GS them in place in hopes that maybe i'll be able to pull them out once the GS dries and cures around it

    Hi J Teezy,
I not sure about plastic wrap? I have put GS around those green plastic nursery pots.
It most definitively does NOT stick to them.
I am going to take a good guess say NO ( because its plastic)
I suppose you could sacrifice a can to find out; line up a few different materials made of plastic and pvc?

I'm not sure about great stuff and saran wrap, but you might try parchment paper (the usual kind you find in kitchens for cooking). I've used it as a liner to form cement and silicone edges. Cement, silicon, glue, any kind of tape, wing sauce, nachos, I haven't found anything that sticks to parchment paper yet, though admittedly I haven't tried great stuff vs. parchment paper yet.

Lynn if it wouldnt stick to the green plastic pots i wonder if it sticks to the black little net pot planters.

Parchment paper is different from wax paper, but wax paper might be worth a try too.

It does not stick to plastic wrap. I have been making features for my build on plastic wrap, so that way my features are removable. The GS Foam just peals off of the plastic wrap when cured.

i just went with foaming them without them being wrapped, from what i could tell from the foaming process the GS wasn't really adhering to the pots, i'll see how it is tomorrow once it has set up for awhile
