I have a Blue Dumpy whom I have had for over a year now in a tank by himself. I would love to get another, but what are the odds of them attempting to eat each other? I'd be devastated if something happened to my current frog and probably disturbed over the loss of a new frog.... I have been told multiple things and most people are saying they may attempt to eat each other. I could see that if they were an extremely different size, but, if I get one that is close to the same size, would it still be a possible problem? Are they territorial if they have been alone for so long? I figure this has been asked before, but I want to do what is best for my Blue Dumpy and I'm unsure of the correct answer with all the different opinons being thrown at me.
Lastly, are there any good books people would recommend on this topic or on Blue Dumpy's in general? I feel like I definitely want to become more educated on this type of tree frog and I would love recommendations on books.
Thanks so much. =)
