    Default Ceratophrys Joazerensis

Hey all, I just picked up a Caatinga Horned Frog, really cool little guy. From what I know they're pretty similar to Ornates, but if anyone has any of these or any tips for their husbandry, I'd really appreciate the advice. Thanks.

You certainly picked up a rarity You are right it is closely related to C. ornata, but it has a distinct genetic composition. According to the IUCN Red List, it is data deficient due to doubts of its taxonomic validity. It might be worth it to find someone who could do some genetic testing.
