I think one of my white's tree frogs ate a pothos plant leaf. The leaf seems to be missing and looks like it was ripped off! Are those poisonous? or will it move through without a problem?
They are poisonius, but I have sadly no idea how it will effect the frog. My advice would be to keep an eye on him the following week or so.
I would assume its safe for a Whites. It may be poisinous to us or cats or dogs but reptiles and amphibians have different systems then mammals do. Pothos are a very common plant suggestion for Whites tanks so if it were poisonous if eaten I doubt people would suggest it.
The reason pothos (and several other poisinous plants) are reccomended for tree frosg is not because it's less dangerous to the frogs. It's because they don't eat plants, so the risk involved in using them is minimal.
everyone is still fine so i guess not poison.
Glad to hear
Thank goodness!

Its poisinous to people and mammal pets (dogs and cats) but NOT frogs unless they ingest, like, the entire plant. It can cause a MILD irritation to the mouth but nothing to classify it as poisonous.
