Default Not sure if this is a dumb question or not

Since I've joined this forum my herp collection has grown I started with a pacman now I have a tomato frog, Tiger leg tree frog, two american toads and two leopard geckos(and its still growing!)
My question is I burn candles in the room with my animals and I'm wondering if whats being burned off the candle is harmful to my frogs? By them breathing in the smell or what not like I said I hope this isn't a dumb question.

    Thanks,
    Greg

well if its a scented candle the scent comes from some kind of chemical additive. I'm not sure if its harmful or not but if it was me i wouldn't do it.

It is probably fine as. Long as the room your frogs are in is NOT cramped and with low ventilation. Smoke is also produced by candles and that can be overwhelming in a small room. One candle doesn't produce a lot into the air, but caution should alway be a. Priority when it come to the safety of your animals. If it were really harmful to them it would be to you also. Even though our anatomy and tolerances are as different as night and day you should consider shortening the duration in which you burn them and monitor any. And all changes in behavior. And activity. Remember that carbon monoxide. Is also produced from burning.
